Simon George - Creative Director

Simon George is a multi-award-winning director and executive producer working in music film, documentary and drama. He is creative director of H&VE and is currently working with multiple major artists on documentary and large-scale interactive projects. Previously, Simon was Senior Creative Director at BBC Studios where he helped create and executive produce many of their biggest shows including the award winning Fight the Power: a History of Hip Hop and politics with Chuck D, Freedom: 50 Years of Pride with Stephen Daldry, Julius Caesar: The Making of a Dictator, and Lost Gold. His previous work includes the feature documentary Out of the Now: Noel Gallagher, Netflix’s global #1 hit show Age of Samurai, Netflix’s global #3 show History 101, Blood Brothers, Pariah: The Lives and Deaths of Sonny Liston, the Emmy award winning WW2 From Space, and the Emmy nominated Barbarians Rising. He has also worked on over 150 live music films and music videos with some of the biggest acts in the world including Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Noel Gallagher, Audioslave, and Coldplay, which was nominated for a Grammy Award.
